Project Manager (MBA Rotation) - HR
Description
The MBA Rotation Program (MRP) Manager position is designed to accelerate the early development of these individuals by offering the opportunity to experience several rotational assignments within US Human Pharma Human Resources Business. The position will provide candidates: the ability to "learn by doing"; greater exposure to various departments within the business and a better understanding of Boehringer Ingelheim. A Boehringer Ingelheim executive will sponsor the program, which will consist of several rotations (approximately 6 months per rotation) within the specific business function over a period of two to three years. This could include either a domestic or international rotation, contingent upon business need.
The MBA Rotation Program (MRP) Manager operates with a high degree of independence and autonomy.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Partner with business leadership and internal team members to identify and analyze business needs and provide innovative recommendations/solutions
- Develop simple visualizations of complex, cross functional processes, and projects
- Translate complexity into clear operational plans for multiple audiences, including executives, managers, and a team of subject matter experts
- Evaluate projects from the perspective of improvements in customer experience, employee experience and financial impact
- Build recommendation across multiple stages from evaluation, drive to a decision with leaders, and steer project implementation
- Manage change and drive project work often with a high level of ambiguity
- Demonstrates high ethical and professional standards with all business contacts in order to maintain Boehringer Ingelheim's excellent reputation within the communities we serve
Requirements
- Graduate degree from an accredited institution required, MBA or Master´s preferred
- Experience interacting with and influencing local and in some cases, global, business leaders.
- Minimum of three (3) years business experience; past experience in area of rotation preferred
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and coordinate efforts with colleagues from multiple functional areas.
- Experience leading projects (Project Management Skills)
- Strong communication + interpersonal skills, including excellent presentation skills
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to understand complex business processes and simplify for an executive audience
- Learning agility and navigating ambiguity
- Must be mobile, internationally or domestic; ability to travel required (short and long term - may include overnight travel).
Boehringer Ingelheim will not sponsor the successful candidate for work authorization in the U.S. The successful candidate must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction
- Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required)
- Must be 18 years of age or older
Compensation Data:
This position offers a base salary typically between $102,000 and $175,000. The position may be eligible for a role specific variable or performance based bonus and or other compensation elements. For an overview of our benefits please click here.
