Patient Affordability Intern

Description

Boehringer Ingelheim is currently seeking a talented and innovative Intern to join our Value & Access: Access & Affordability department located at our Ridgefield, CT facility. As an Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in creating and developing patient affordability solutions, interpreting and monitoring copay analytics, and contributing to the strategy and development of governing these programs that span across multiple therapies. This role is based on-site at our Ridgefield, CT location with hybrid flexibility of 2-3 days per week on-site. 

 

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide team support to assist in developing & assessing patient affordability programs for Boehringer Ingelheim's portfolio of products (i.e., contributing to budget and forecast milestones)
  • Provide support to monitor & analyze copay data across our therapeutic portfolio, while interpreting the data to help patients gain access to their medications.
  • Assist in developing presentations that provide insights for our patient access & affordability solutions for our inline and pipeline assets.

Requirements

  • Must be a current undergraduate, graduate or advanced degree student in good academic standing
  • Student must be enrolled at a college or university for the duration of the internship
  • Overall cumulative minimum GPA from last completed quarter/semester 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) preferred
  • Major or minor in related field of internship
  • Undergraduate students must have completed at least 12 credit hours at current college or university
  • Graduate and Advanced Degree students must have completed at least 9 credit hours at current college or university


Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
  • Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required).
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
