Compensation Data
The base salary for this position is $90,000 and $147,000. The position may be eligible for a role specific discretionary bonus, relocation, and/or other compensation elements. We continuously review market data and may adjust salary ranges as needed in the future. This role is based on-site at our Ridgefield, CT location with hybrid flexibility of 2-3 days per week on-site.

The TA Onboarding and Recruitment Operations Specialist serves as the primary owner of the U.S. new employee onboarding program and provides operational and training support to the U.S. Talent Acquisition team. This role is responsible for delivering a consistent, high‑quality onboarding experience for new hires while driving continuous improvement across onboarding processes, tools, and stakeholder partnerships. In addition, the role supports recruitment process, systems, and compliance training to enable consistent, compliant, and effective hiring practices. As a member of the Talent Acquisition Operations team, the role reports to the Associate Director of Talent Acquisition Shared Services and Operations and partners closely with stakeholders across Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, IT, HR Compliance, Legal, and the business.
Duties & Responsibilities
Onboarding:
- Serve as the primary owner of BI’s U.S. new employee onboarding program, partnering with site onboarding leads across U.S. locations to ensure consistent execution.
- Collaborate with IT and Global HR Services to support onboarding systems, access provisioning, data accuracy, and operational readiness.
- Lead a matrixed group of cross functional partners to drive continuous improvement of onboarding processes, tools, and experiences.
- Develop and maintain a short, mid , and long term roadmap aligned with business needs and employee onboarding experience goals.
- Facilitate and coordinate in person new employee orientation sessions for Human Pharma new hires.
- Maintain onboarding documentation, orientation materials, facilitation guides, and program standards to ensure consistency and scalability.
Talent Acquisition Operations Support:
- Partner with the Associate Director of Talent Acquisition Shared Services and Operations to support the design, delivery, and execution of annual training for the U.S. Talent Acquisition team.
- Collaborate with HR Compliance and Legal partners to evaluate and support updates to recruitment processes in response to evolving regulatory and legislative requirements.
- Draft and disseminate clear communications related to recruitment process changes, system updates, and compliance guidance for U.S. TA, HR GBS, and HR Business Partner communities.
- Enable effective, consistent, and compliant use of recruitment technologies, including ATS workflows, recruiting tools, reporting, and compliance controls.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging data, system reporting, and stakeholder feedback to enhance recruiting efficiency, consistency, and compliance outcomes.
- Provide operational support activities for TA Operations initiatives and projects, including serving as backup support for other TA Operations team members as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree or 5 years of relevant HR and/or Talent Acquisition experience
- 3- 5 years experience leading or facilitating new employee onboarding programs or related initiatives.
- 3- 5 years experience designing, delivering, and facilitating training for professional audiences.
- Experience working within Talent Acquisition or HR Operations (preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate with cross functional and global teams.
- Hands on experience with SuccessFactors or other applicant tracking / HCM systems.
- Experience using Microsoft tools such as Power Apps and Power Automate to support process efficiency (preferred).
- Excellent project management and prioritization skills.

- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
- Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required).
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
