The Bioanalysis-DMPK Laboratory Operations Specialist II supports operational and logistical functions serving the various Bioanalysis-DMPK laboratories with minimal supervision. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Functions effectively as a team member, demonstrating the behaviors and attributes required to complete interdependent and cross-functional tasks in a highly dynamic work environment.   • Executes routine procedures, in an independent and efficient manner, associated with standard, specialized and custom reagents, matrix, and reference standards, inventory management including physical receipt and organized storage, electronic tracking, monitoring, and discrepancy resolution.
  • Fulfills reagent, matrix, and reference standard dispensing requests, ensuring appropriate inventory controls, and accurate and timely delivery of materials to analysts.
  • Serve as material (reagent, matrix, reference standards, etc.) shipment contact; coordinates, documents, assembles and properly packages materials for domestic and international shipping; tracks and traces incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Completes internal shipping documentation and applications for new and renewed permits for shipping and clearance of standard custom reagents, reference and viral materials in support of development projects.
  • Serves as the Bioanalysis Safety Officer point of contact, working closely with Bioanalysis-DMPK management and the Safety Department.
  • Manages the ordering and tracking of matrix products and common reagents.
  • Ensures timely and accurate documentation and performs quality record review to ensure compliance in a non-GxP environment; contributes to and/or prepares technical documents such as procedures and instructions.
  • Complies with applicable regulations, performing all work in a safe manner; Maintains proper records in accordance with SOPs and Boehringer’s policy.
  • May be assigned additional tasks (e.g., ordering, equipment maintenance, freezers, calibrations, etc.) as a primary responsibility under the direction of Bioanalysis-DMPK Management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with three-plus (3+) years’ experience in related scientific discipline, or equivalent experience in a related field.

Desired Skills, Experience and Abilities

The base salary range for this position is $75,000.00 to $122,000.00 USD.   The position may be eligible for a role specific discretionary bonus, relocation, and/or other compensation elements.  We continuously review market data and may adjust salary ranges as needed in the future.  Actual compensation will be based on job-related factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications, and other factors permitted by law.
