Lead the identification, assessment, and activation of unmet needs within U.S. health systems across obesity, cardiometabolic disease, chronic kidney disease (CKD), and liver disease. This role translates system-level insights into scalable, evidence-based solutions that improve patient access, care coordination, and clinical decision-making while supporting sustainable business growth. This is a remote position.
This position offers a base salary typically between $200,000 and $316,000. The position may be eligible for a role-specific variable or performance-based bonus and/or other compensation elements.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Evaluate structural, clinical, and operational gaps across U.S. health systems that limit guideline-aligned care.
- Analyze reimbursement, value-based care, and population health trends to inform solution design and partnerships.
- Build and sustain strategic health-system partnerships to co-create scalable and integrated solutions.
Leverage health-system data and real-world evidence (RWE) to identify diagnostic and treatment barriers. - Translate gaps into integrated solutions, pilot programs, and collaborative initiatives/partnerships.
- Provide external scientific leadership through engagement with professional societies and expert networks.
- Establish a consistent framework to ensure differentiated external engagement with key stakeholders and decision makers
- Lead end-to-end development of health-system solutions from insight through implementation.
- Define pull-through strategies aligned with reimbursement, workflows, and performance metrics.
- Partner internally (especially with medicine and V&A) to ensure education, tools, and enablement support adoption.
- Establish success metrics and feedback loops to refine and scale solutions.
- Develop robust business cases articulating disease burden, operational challenges, and system impact.
Support implementation including onboarding, training, workflow redesign, and evaluation. - Establish governance, documentation, and reporting structures to track outcomes.
- Partner cross-functionally with Medical, Market Access, Commercial, Legal/Compliance, and Data teams.
- Foster and maintain trusted relationships with clinicians, payers, administrators, professional societies, and advocacy groups.
- Represent the organization at U.S. conferences and health-system innovation forums and other external engagements.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Nursing, Public Health, Health Sciences, Health Administration, or related field required.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in healthcare, including health-system environments.
- Demonstrated experience working with U.S. health systems, payers or integrated delivery networks.
- Relevant license or advanced certification (e.g. RN, CDCES, or equivelant)
- Deep knowledge of U.S. health-system structures and reimbursement pathways.
- Proven ability to translate complex challenges into scalable solutions.
- Experience with RWE, quality metrics, and value-based care indicators.
- Strong strategic thinking, executive presence, and partnership-building skills.
- Experience in building and sustaining senior-level partnerships with clinical, payer and external stakeholder groups through influence, collaboration and strategic alignment.
- Experience working cross functionally to advance initiatives from concept through execution while navigating governance, compliance and operational constraints.
- High level of strategic judgment, independence and executive communication skills.
- Ability to travel on a regular basis.
