The Compensation Analyst is primarily responsible for supporting compensation reporting needs, managing the salary survey submission process, and contributing to the annual compensation planning cycle. This role involves analyzing data, providing actionable insights, and executing processes that align with business objectives while ensuring competitive and equitable compensation practices.

The Compensation Analyst plays a key role in supporting various compensation-related projects, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and enhance decision-making.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • With oversight from Sr AD, Compensation Partner, leads the annual Compensation Planning (CP) Cycle for Base Salary and Bonus review for all US OPUs including diligent testing of the global CP system functionality, audit of US data in collaboration with the HR Service team and HR Business Partner teams.
  • Prepares US specific training and communication material including maintenance of resources on Insite.
  • Performs audits during the CP processes and work with HR teams on data corrections.
  • Prepares overall BI US compensation analysis during and post comp cycle completion.
  • Creates monthly compensation reports ensuring timely and accurate data is provided.
  • Supports ad hoc reporting needs from the ED, Compensation & Global Mobility Services and SR AD, Compensation Partner.
  • Owns and serves as SME for the market survey database tool and manage external market data analysis including submission of data to external salary and pay practices surveys, data audits, final reporting and analysis of salary competitive analysis, creation and maintenance of salary ranges and job family structures.
  • Supports the ED, Compensation & Global Mobility Services with annual Total Compensation analysis for all executive and non-executive roles.
  • Supports local and global pay equity analysis by providing requested data and preparing analysis as needed.
  • Supports Compensation Team with work on local and global Compensation Projects as assigned.
  • Manages the overall job creation and maintenance process including the job creation form, verification of survey benchmark codes and assigning all mandatory compensation related data.
  • Works closely with HR Service Center, HR Compliance, Talent Acquisition team on the end-to-end job creation process.
  • Responsible as SME for all questions related to jobs, job profiles, the job profile inventory system and process to maintain job profiles in accordance with BI's records retention guidelines.
  • Manages the job delimit process by routinely auditing job usage and working with HRBP and CoE teams to ensure integrity of job inventory system.
  • Provides training material to ensure consistent level of job profile content quality in accordance with US legal requirements (e.g. FLSA requirements).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Four (4) years’ experience in Compensation or a related HR/Finance area.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent knowledge in MS office programs in particular advanced Excel skills as well as the ability to quickly learn new IS systems.
