CMC Regulatory Data Science Co-Op (Hybrid)
Description
Boehringer Ingelheim is currently seeking a talented and innovative Data Science co-op to join our CMC Regulatory Affairs department located at our Ridgefield facility. As an co-op, you will utilize your data science background to optimize data platforms and develop reports for marketed products. This includes evaluating data/databases managed by the Regulatory Affairs team, identifying solutions to simplify and automate data management, and building platforms for data management in alignment with Boehringer Ingelheim’s digitial innovation initiative.
This role is a hybrid role and does require 2 days a week onsite at our Ridgefield, CT offices.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Optimize current data platforms for report generation
- Use existing applications (e.g., PowerApps, PowerAutomate, Sharepoint, etc.) to develop relevant reports
- Evaluate federal state regulations to ensure reports meet regulatory needs
- Optimize CMC databases and tracking tools using existing software applications
- Create dashboards for CMC submission metrics and information databases, as applicable
Requirements
- Must be a current undergraduate, graduate or advanced degree student in good academicstanding.
- Student must be enrolled at a college or university for the duration of theinternship.
- Overall cumulative minimum GPA from last completed quarter/semester 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale)preferred.
- Major or minor in related field of internship
- Undergraduate students must have completed at least 12 credit hours at current college oruniversity.
- Graduate and advanced degree students must have completed at least 9 credit hours at current college oruniversity.
Desired Experience, Skills and Abilities:
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Management, or something similar
- Excellent computer and information technology literacy
- Excellent skills in planning, organizing, and problem-solving
- Strong communication (verbal and written) skills
- Ability to work well under pressure, work in a team environment, flexibility to adapt in a changing environment.
- Detail oriented, well organized.
Compensation
This position offers an hourly rate typically between $20/ hour and $33/ hour commensurate to the level of degree program in which an applicant is actively enrolled. For an overview of our benefits please click here.
