Compensation Data

The base salary range for this position is $140,000 to $222,000.   The position may be eligible for a role specific discretionary bonus, relocation, and/or other compensation elements.  We continuously review market data and may adjust salary ranges as needed in the future.  Actual compensation will be based on job-related factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications, and other factors permitted by law. The Asset Manager, reporting to the US Launch Excellence Lead, serves as strategic support to asset teams, corporate stakeholders, and cross-functional leaders, is accountable for the overall launch project plan development, integration, and management for a pipeline product (or a portfolio of products). This role is responsible for creating and managing the overall launch plan and updating critical paths to launch, including internal and external events. The ideal candidate possesses strong project management, business acumen, agility, outstanding problem-solving skills and TA expertise to steer, guide, challenge, and coach launch teams, while combining an asset first mindset within the launch team with the patient first mentality of the company. This role manages key corporate stakeholder relationships, ensuring alignment between organizational priorities, launch strategy, and execution plans.

 

The role contributes to the evolution of launch excellence methodologies by leveraging the best internal practices, cross-market learnings from ex-US launches, experiences from launches in other therapeutic areas and brands, external benchmarking, market intelligence, competitive launch insights, and innovative approaches that enhance planning efficiency and organizational effectiveness.

 

This role is based on-site at our Ridgefield, CT location with hybrid flexibility of 2-3 days per week on-site. 

 

 

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Accountable for launch readiness preparation, coordination with the Global Launch Excellence Office and driving action item closure post Launch Readiness Review (LRR) meetings.
  • Ensures overall launch plan is developed, communicated, pressure-tested and meets corporate requirements.
  • Accountable for documenting and tracking deliverables progress and interdependencies between teams as well as any risks to launch timelines and launch performance.
  • Trains cross-functional teams on how to populate key launch plan deliverables.
  • Acts as the primary point of contact for co-promotion launch activities, if applicable.
  • Establishes and rolls out tools, templates, and governance to manage the overall launch.
  • Develops and coordinates processes to ensure that all critical support functions such as Marketing, Medical Affairs, Health Systems, Market Access, Sales, Training, etc. are contributing.
  • Leads Asset team working sessions to develop and manage the launch project plan.
  • Builds project deliverables, including kickoff presentations, meeting decks, status memos, and final presentations.
  • Facilitate cross-functional working sessions, launch summits, and governance meetings
  • Leads weekly/bi-weekly team meetings pre- during and post-launch plan development.
  • Acts as a strategic partner for the launch lead and core functional leads.
  • Shares best practices throughout pre-launch planning period.
  • Manages and oversees workstream deliverables and timelines, prioritizes launch activities and closes gaps quickly.
  • Presents information to launch teams and to leadership.
  • Designs the tools to measure launch readiness at the strategic, tactical, and operational level
  • Supports US Launch Excellence lead in development, implementation and promotion of launch excellence frameworks and methodologies
  • Supports training and education of cross functional teams on standard launch methods
  • Monitor competitive, market, and launch intelligence to identify emerging trends, risks, opportunities, and best practices that inform asset strategy and launch execution.
  • Capture, synthesize, and embed launch learnings into methodologies, playbooks, readiness frameworks, and best practices to strengthen enterprise launch capabilities.
  • Support collaboration between US and Global asset teams by maintaining visibility to launch progress, risks, and key learnings and facilitating knowledge exchange
  • Lead launch planning activities through all stages of the launch journey, ensuring alignment to key milestones, objectives, and business priorities.
  • Support integrated resource planning efforts to ensure launch activities are appropriately prioritized and resourced.
  • Partner with Analytics & Insights and other stakeholders to co-develop, monitor, and optimize launch metrics, readiness indicators, and performance-tracking mechanisms.

 

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, science, or related field, healthcare, marketing, life sciences, or a related discipline.
  • Five to seven years of overall business experience with a minimum of four years in Pharmaceutical Marketing, New Product Launch, Agile Project Management, and/or Strategy Development. Experience should include leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Demonstrated strong project management, organizational, communication, attention to detail and time management skills required, including the ability to translate strategy into actionable integrated plans and milestones.
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve conflict, and ability to influence teams without authority is required, with proven ability to align diverse stakeholders around priorities, decisions, and launch readiness actions.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver results on large initiatives with clear ownership of outcomes, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Well-developed strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with ability to assess launch risks, resource needs, and business implications.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Experience supporting pharmaceutical product launches, launch readiness reviews, launch governance, or launch excellence capability-building strongly preferred.
  • Experience partnering with Analytics & Insights or similar functions to define launch KPIs, readiness metrics, performance tracking, and continuous improvement insights preferred.
