Head of Clinical Research (M/F)

As part of a replacement, the Reims site is recruiting a Clinical Research Director France (M/F) on a permanent contract (CDI).


Position


Leading the clinical teams within the Medical and Pharmaceutical Division France, you will play a key role in the development of future products by coordinating clinical studies, representing the affiliate in international forums, and contributing to the company’s scientific excellence.


Roles and Responsibilities


Management and Coordination:
- Supervise teams responsible for national and international clinical studies.
- Define the department’s organization, objectives, and resources.
- Support, train, and empower team members.
Clinical Strategy and Development:
- Contribute to the definition of clinical development plans in line with the overall therapeutic strategy.
- Ensure French-specific aspects are considered in international programs.
- Participate in the registration and market access of new products.
Institutional and Scientific Relations:
- Represent Boehringer Ingelheim to health authorities (ANSM, HAS), scientific societies, and medical experts.
- Develop and maintain a network of investigators and external experts.
- Participate in national and international working groups, conferences, and communication initiatives.
Compliance and Operational Excellence:
- Ensure clinical activities comply with current regulations and good clinical practices.
- Respond to audits and inspections by authorities.
- Monitor performance indicators and propose corrective actions.


Profile 


You hold a scientific Master’s degree and have significant experience in clinical operations and managing multicultural teams.

Excellent command of English.
