Business Process Excellence Specialist
THE POSITION

We’re looking for a Business Process Excellence Specialist to join our Animal Health Operations team. In this hands on role, you’ll work closely with stakeholders across our manufacturing site to map, analyse and improve key business processes — helping teams work more effectively, safely and efficiently.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead the end-to-end mapping and documentation of key business processes using BPMN 2.0 and standard modelling techniques.
• Facilitate engaging workshops to capture “As-Is” real world operational practices and build shared understanding across teams.
• Identify opportunities for improvement using Lean, root cause analysis and process simplification.
• Support the design of improved “To Be” processes and help develop actionable improvement plans.
• Highlight process risks within manual workflows and support the development of effective risk mitigation strategies.
• Help define and measure process KPIs, collecting data to assess progress and track benefits.
• Identify opportunities for future automation and digitalisation.
• Maintain consistent process documentation and support version control across the site.
REQUIREMENTS
• A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant area.
• Formal training in Business Process Management (BPM).
• Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt minimum; Black Belt a plus).
• 2–5 years’ hands on experience in BPM, process improvement, operational excellence or similar.
• Practical experience mapping manual or semi manual processes.
• Strong workshop facilitation skills and the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.
• Analytical, systems thinking mindset with excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to influence without direct authority and build effective working relationships.
• Strong communication skills and confidence working with ambiguity.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing priorities
• Solid IT skills, including Microsoft 365 and BPM software.
