Regional Sales Manager

The Position

Boehringer Ingelheim is currently hiring a Regional Sales Manager based in Oran, The Regional Sales Manager leads a team of Medical Representatives and manages the business performance for Ouest Algeria region within the assigned territory while ensuring that the promotion fosters appropriate use and adheres to local regulatory and pharma code regulations.

The Regional Sales Manager will report directly to National Business Manager, Algeria.

 

Main Responsibilities :

  • Participates in the development of the Marketing/Sales team strategy in working groups and supports its implementation in the regions, under the responsibility of the Country Manager or National Business Manager (depending on the case), to grow the country's sales.
  • Contributes to the development and regional validation of sectoral action plans and ensures their follow-up.
  • In agreement with their hierarchy, defines the organization and allocation of resources for their team, as well as the activities and objectives of their collaborators.
  • Leads the team of Medical Representatives and Specialists under their responsibility and develops the skills of their collaborators, particularly in line with the Sectoral Action Plan approach.
  • Drafts, implements, and monitors the Regional Action Plan.
  • Ensures continuous mastery of the required knowledge through training and seeks the necessary information for the role (competitive and scientific monitoring).
  • Comply with their activity reporting obligations and adheres to internal procedures.
  • Respects and ensures compliance with rules of ethics and deontology.
  • Ensure that the Medical Representatives and Specialists under their responsibility use the documents validated by the company and provide validated materials during medical visits.
  • Ensures the reporting of Pharmacovigilance cases and pharmaceutical complaints.

 

 

Requirements:

  • Physician, Pharmacist, Veterinarian, Biologist
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the role of Regional Sales Manager
  • Previous people management experience is preferred
  • Bilingual French/Arabic; English is preferred.
