Production Supervisor - Capo Reparto

THE POSITION

We are currently seeking a Production Supervisor (Capo Reparto) to join our Biotech Vaccine Production Department at Boehringer Ingelheim’s Noventa Padovana site, which specializes in veterinary vaccine manufacturing. 

In this role you will collaborate closely with the Production Manager to ensure full compliance with current quality, safety, and environmental standards. You will be responsible for overseeing scheduled production activities, managing a team of approximately five operators, and promptly addressing any issues related to product quality. 

The position operates on a shift basis and requires effective coordination of team efforts to meet production goals. This is a distinctive opportunity for a motivated professional with proven leadership abilities, a thorough understanding of GMP practices, and a genuine enthusiasm for being actively involved in day-to-day operations.


Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the execution of production plans and responding promptly to potential issues.
  • Monitoring, verifying, and signing off on process operations reported on work sheets.
  • Ensuring compliance with GMP standards, gowning procedures, data integrity, and operational procedures governing pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Participating in the development of production plans.
  • Conducting investigations into deviations and preparing related reports as needed.
  • Leading process improvement initiatives for production processes.
  • Managing training activities for team members with leadership and awareness.
  • Actively and consistently contributing to the evaluation and growth of the team, fostering openness and alignment with company values.
  • Overseeing the onboarding of new team members and supporting their development.

 

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in the Biotech sector.
  • Strong knowledge of GMP standards.
  • Experience in budget management, cost center (Cdc) oversight, and cost analysis.
  • Master's degree in a scientific field (e.g., Microbiology, Biology, CTF, Chemistry, etc.).
  • Proficiency in English (minimum B1 level, both written and spoken).
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and coaching skills.
  • A mindset focused on continuous improvement.
  • Strong teamwork and mentorship abilities.
