Production Planner Assistant
The position
In charge of intercompany flow for intermediate goods needed to be packed on site and shipped. The Planner will work to achieve the corporate goals of customer service levels / OTIF, backorder minimization, inventory targets, minimized outdated inventory and continuous supply of our products. Interface with Procurement Planner, Production Execution, Quality Management, Inbound/Outbound Logistics and other business partners.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with manufacturing management and floor personnel concerning daily issues that affect the completion of the schedule.
- Maintain appropriate levels of assigned materials and /or adjust stocks based on information received
- Put measures into place to reduce short dated and expired material in addition to taking appropriate inventory control actions regarding short dated and expired material.
- Maintain MRP material master data for assigned materials interacting with people in charge of MDGx process.
- Analyze and update related KPIs.
Requirements:
- Knowledge in supply chain planning/scheduling in a manufacturing or similar environment
- Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP)
- Knowledge of MRP and Production Scheduling
- *Nice to have - knowledge of import activities
- Good written and verbal communication skills both in Italian and English
- Drive action within and across teams, deciding and acting with speed
- Data Analysis & Analytics Skills
- Understanding of cGMP production guidelines are preferred
