Business Process Excellence Specialist

THE POSITION


Reporting to the Business Process Excellence Manager, this role will be responsible for deploying and sustaining Continuous Improvement (Business Process Excellence, BPE) activities contributing to the development of the Operational Excellence Roadmap at the site level.

 


Tasks&responsabilities

 

• Plan, lead and execute business critical improvement projects to deliver successful results using Lean/DMAIC approach, as well as Project Management methodology.
• Identify opportunities in order to increase efficiency, reduce or eliminate waste, improve quality, delivery and cost;
• Coordinate and deploy practical problem solving at shop floor level and Root Cause analysis sessions to remove waste and build continuous improvement capability aligning people at all levels of the organization, following-up with Sponsor and team members
• Promotes continuous improvement through the implementation and development of standards, tools, systems and Lean Manufacturing methodologies not limited to: Standardized Work, Process Mapping, A3 Problem Solving, VSM, OEE, 5S, Visual Management, Poka Yoke, SMED, War on Waste, Kaizen Event;
• Drive the execution of business-critical improvements projects across the site ensuring an adequate implementation, monitoring their timing. with direct and significant impact on business results (i.e., lead-time, productivity, cost).
• Defining and updating Project Management processes, contributing to standard definitions, reviews, and co-ordinating activities in support of business objectives
• Engage and inspire to set challenging targets and provide Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies to assist them in the delivery of their objectives.
• Contribute to the development and use of relevant business performance indicators.

 

Requirements:

 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Chemical/Process Engineering or similar scientific field.
• Lean Six Sigma green belt Certification or equivalent experience
• Project management certification and previous experience in CI initiatives in highly regulated industries would be considered a plus
• Fluent English Level and Native level of Italian language
• Familiarity of lean transformation programs in operations and business processes, including Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and/or Logistics
• Expert in statistical data analysis and digital experience in construction electronic dashboard
• Leadership, proactivity, active and open communication, capacity for collaboration and mediation and 
• Influencing skills
