The Position
The incumbent is expected to help build the HR General Services responsible for backend processes around employee benefits in the APAC region. The role will cover the whole scope of the employee benefits.
In close collaboration with HRBP, Employee Central Specialist - Benefits will serve about 1,000 employees within 5 coutries in English (PH, SG, MY, AU, NZ), in several time zones, within multiple company sites, more than 7 legal entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and run backend processes around employee benefits.
- Adheres to the data quality standards and delivers against defined SLAs.
- Participate in the roll-in of the selected BI countries following the Deployment Roadmap regarding Employee Central, ensuring high quality service and day-one readiness for every new country rolled in.
- Accountable for the execution of all benefits-related end-to-end processes, continuously striving for improvements.
- End-to-end process of statutory payments; orchestration of all relevant HR-specific reimbursements/payments; coordination with third-party vendors (e.g., Mercer Mash).
- Liaise with the respective HRBP/Local HR to ensure operational process excellence.
- Provide reliable reports and data to HR BPs and CoEs when required.
- Be compliant with local and regional legal regulations, especially in a shared service environment, regarding labour and employment law, tax, data protection, internal risk and control processes, Corporate HR Procedures, Policies, and SOPs.
- Ensure operational process excellence regarding Employee Central for all employees and managers in scope within the APAC region.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field,
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience HR processes such as benefits administration, employee lifecycle support, data maintenance, and documentation, with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
- Proven experience in handling employee queries, resolving issues effectively, and maintaining high satisfaction levels from different stakeholders.
- Shared Service backgroud is a plus. Prior exposure working with cross-county teams or supporting HR services for different countries or regions especially APAC
- Strong communication skills in English—both written and verbal
- Skilled in partnering with teams across various departments and countries, fostering collaboration, and ensuring consistency despite complex structures and time zones.
