Senior Third Party Risk Management Specialist

Tasks & Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of complex Third-Party Risk Management activities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in risk management processes, providing guidance and expertise to team members and stakeholders.
- Drive the development and enhancement of TPRM capabilities, including the design of new processes, tools, and frameworks.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, acting as a key point of contact for escalations and high-priority matters.
- Provide second-level advisory support, resolving complex or sensitive issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Take ownership of training and mentoring junior team members, fostering knowledge sharing and skill development within the team.
- Ensure compliance with Boehringer Ingelheim’s risk appetite and exposure guidelines, proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks.
About Our Future Employee
- A university degree in Business, Economics, Law, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in compliance or risk management, preferably within a Legal/Compliance Shared Service structure or an in-house Compliance department.
- Strong customer focus and business partnering skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- High learning agility and adaptability to new challenges.
- Proficiency in business English (minimum B2 level); Japanese or Mandarin language skills are a plus.
