Senior Internal Investigator
The Position
Are you passionate enough to join a team that leads and manages complex, end-to-end internal investigations involving potential misconduct, compliance violations, and other business integrity concerns across multiple jurisdictions?
In this role, you'll develop investigation strategies, conduct interviews, evaluate evidence, engage with senior stakeholders, and deliver clear, fact-based findings and recommendations. You'll ensure investigations are handled objectively, confidentially, and in line with company policies, legal requirements, and compliance standards. You may also have the opportunity to guide and mentor less experienced investigators as they grow in their careers.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Independently lead complex and sensitive internal investigations.
- Develop investigation plans, interview strategies, and evidence review approaches.
- Conduct and lead interviews with witnesses, subjects, and key stakeholders.
- Analyze evidence and prepare investigation reports with clear findings and recommendations.
- Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, HR, Data Privacy, and other stakeholders throughout the investigative process.
- Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and company requirements while maintaining confidentiality and objectivity.
About Our Future Employee
- Bachelor’s Degree in any related field. A degree in Law, Legal Studies, Accounting, or Finance is considered a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience conducting internal investigations, compliance reviews, forensic examinations, or similar investigative work in a multinational environment.
- Strong interviewing, evidence analysis, report writing, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex and sensitive investigations while maintaining confidentiality and objectivity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience working across multiple jurisdictions and functions is preferred.
