Principal Systems Engineer
The Position

In this role you will be supporting Animal Health Pharmacovigilance area and working in close collaboration with IT Team members and stakeholders to deliver and implement technology solutions in support of the business objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for planning, development, testing, implementation, technical operation, maintenance, and changes of a Computer Systems including all its components.
- Support the core operational processes such as incident, problem, knowledge or change management for all Computer Systems that are managed or operated by IT or by the external service providers
- Create and maintain documentation of system architecture within system life cycle.
- Work closely with our various stakeholders, including system owners, vendors and internal IT teams to proactively manage deliverables, provide regular communications and updates to ensure cross-functional alignment of upcoming changes and releases
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in fields such as Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Several years of working experience in a virtual and international IT environment preferably in the pharma industry
- Strong technology skills in implementing and/or maintaining a global business critical system and knowledge in Services Management.
- Ability to think outside the box and foster innovation and collaboration in the workplace with a strong orientation towards customer satisfaction and quality.
- Basic Understanding of compliance
Experience/Skills:
- Knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server or Postgres
- Scripting or automation skills know-how.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
