Business Development Manager T & G - Mumbai
The Position
As a member of Boehringer Ingelheim's sales team, you will play a key role in expanding the market penetration of our products within your assigned territory while achieving and exceeding sales targets. You will build and strengthen relationships with healthcare professionals, hospitals, and key opinion leaders, helping to enhance patient care while growing the Boehringer Ingelheim brand.
Success in this role requires strong relationship-building skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to execute territory plans that drive sustainable business growth.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Achieve or exceed sales targets by engaging healthcare professionals and hospital stakeholders through a consultative selling approach while delivering a high standard of customer service.
- Develop and execute effective territory plans, including customer mapping and call strategies, to ensure appropriate coverage and engagement with targeted hospitals and healthcare professionals.
- Build strong customer relationships by understanding and anticipating customer needs, providing relevant solutions, and partnering with high-potential healthcare professionals to advance business objectives.
- Utilize hospital and clinician insights, reports, and market data to identify opportunities, prioritize customers, and implement sales strategies that maximize territory performance.
- Develop and execute territory business plans aligned with sales and marketing objectives, ensuring consistent implementation and achievement of business goals.
- Maintain accurate and timely administrative records, including customer information, call reports, sample accountability, and other required documentation, while effectively leveraging available technology and digital tools.

- Will cover territories of Territory of Mumbai
- Willingness to travel extensively
- Candidate must be residing on one of the area mentioned.
- Should be able to learn mechanism of action and clinical application concepts easily
- Adaptability is critical to quickly respond to changing situations and priorities
- Demonstrate strong problem solving and decision-making acclimating to various customer needs, interests and processes. Relate to and compare data from different sources. Commit a course of action based on logical assumptions and factual information
