Junior Controller
THE POSITION
We are looking for a dynamic and proactive profile to cover the position of Junior Controller in our Boehringer Ingelheim Milan Headquarter. The resource will join and support the Finance Team in the planning processes and in the monthly/yearly closure activities. The candidate will report directly to the Central Controlling Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Monthly closure activities.
- Process accurate and relevant accruals and provisions in financial ledgers.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in accordance with corporate policies and guidelines.
- Perform month-end routines, checks, reconciliations, and analysis.
- Planning process Support the Finance team during planning process (Budget and Long term forecast) and yearly update preparing analysis and updating the official system.
- Business partnering: Builds a solid relationship with all other Local Finance department and Business colleagues.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree (Economics, Business Administration).
- 1/2 Years’ experience in Accounting and/or Controlling.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel; experience with SAP and Power BI is a plus.
- Native Italian speaker and good level of written and spoken English (B2/C1/C2).
- Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive attitude with an agile and adaptable mindset.
- Problem-solving capabilities and strong analytical skills.
