Internship - Purchasing
THE INTERNSHIP:
In this internship you will join the Purchasing team of Boehringer Ingelheim Italy: you will support the team’s activities aimed to ensure that all the activities are carried out in compliance with the Company procedures and in accordance with the Global Purchasing prescriptions.
Tasks & what you will be learning:
• Execution of the supplier validation process with their insertion into the master data within a SAP application,
• The management of codified materials starting from their insertion, up to the insertion of prices,
• The management with the buyer of online tenders with a SAP application, from the setting phase to the final tabulation in accordance with the company procedures,
• The writing of contracts based on predefined models depending on the product category,
• You will participate in purchasing meetings where we also discuss topics related to daily work but also topic about problem solving, purchasing strategies, possible standardization solutions on tools and methodologies
Requirements:
• Degree, preferably in engineering or economics
• Languages: native Italian speaker and good written and spoken English
• Good knowledge of the Office package (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook). SAP is an option
• Planning, organization, teamwork, communication, customer orientation skills
• Curiosity, desire to learn and put into practice
• Ability to establish priorities, analyze data
