Internship: Pharmacovigilance

THE INTERNSHIP

In this internship you will join the Pharmacovigilance team of Boehringer Ingelheim: you will support the team’s activities aimed to ensure that all adverse event reports notified to the Company, also from abroad, are analyzed, classified, validated and sent to the Competent National Authorities and to Corporate in compliance with the timelines and modalities required by the pharmacovigilance regulations in force, by Corporate SOPs and Company procedures, contributing to continuity of this activity also during Company closure periods.

 

Tasks & what you will be learning:

  • Support in the collection of safety data from any source and distribute to Global data entry after management in the local pharmacovigilance system of Global Safety Platform.
  • Support with the analysis and classification of adverse event reports by assessing the information notified to the company for consistency and completeness, and to arrange, where necessary, follow up activities.
  • You will take part in the activities related to the screening of local literature.
  • You will support the PV team in design and implementation of PV awareness activities.
  • Support the team in the PV daily tasks (eg. Support to managing documentation).

 

Requirements:

  • Pharmaceutical, Medical or Life-science University Degree.
  • Languages: native level of Italian and fluent English (C1).
  • Good knowledge of Office package (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
  • Planning skills, Organisation, Teamwork, Communication, Customer Orientation.
  • Ability to innovate, analyze complex data and prioritize.
