IT Data Translator
THE POSITION

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Consultant to join our team as Data Translator to ensure we achieve real impact from our data & analytics initiatives. The position provides a unique opportunity to unleash the potential of data, facilitate collaboration, empower stakeholders to make informed decisions and help drive adoption and literacy throughout Commercial and Medical Animal Health and Human Pharma organizations.
You will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between technical data experts and business leaders locally and globally, helping the identification of high-value business problems that analytics can solve, translating complex data concepts into solutions with actionable insights, coordinating with internal and external teams to design and deliver solutions that meet business needs effectively.

Tasks & Responsibilities
- Bridge the gap between technical data experts and business stakeholders, grasping business context and processes to identify relevant problems, opportunities and demands that can be translated into data and analytics solutions, turning data insights into meaningful outcomes.
- Adapt global Marketing & Sales solutions to local country needs, ensuring compliance with country-specific regulations, translating business objectives and country/project-specific needs into actionable user stories, data models, and technical requirements.
- Lead cross-organizational data projects or products from beginning to end, in either waterfall or agile methodology, removing impediments and fostering a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Craft narratives around data to engage and influence stakeholders, translating their needs, defining new value proposition leveraging technology, communicating benefits to drive data adoption within the organization, ensuring that data insights lead to meaningful impact on business outcomes.
- You will work within a multi-disciplinary team, together with industry-leading Data Architects, Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Data Domain Owners, and Business Subject Matter Experts. Your focus lies at the crossroads of technology and business, where you bring about transformative solutions."
- Influence IT-related business decisions and solution architecture by engaging stakeholders, you will be at the forefront of continuous enhancement of processes, data, and platforms to deliver solutions that generate impact at scale.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in computer science, Business Administration or Data Science or bachelor’s degree combined with long term relevant working experiences.
- Several years of experience in roles blending business analysis, agile delivery, and data translation, as an interface to internal and external business partners on a global level, preferably within the pharma industry.
- Strong business acumen and domain knowledge to effectively identify not only the value of data & analytics in the business context, but also the impact of technology and algorithms, with a proven ability to understand technical jargon and translate it accurately in business language.
- Animal Health and Human Pharma business acumen, processes, and related data domains knowledge and solutions, through common use cases especially in Commercial, Marketing and Medical.
- Long term experience in addressing business challenges with Data solutions, including a proven track record of successful (agile frameworks) implementations of complex projects / products or cross-functional IT programs and coordinate efforts with colleagues from several functions.
- Experience in business analytics with a proven ability to apply data analysis, data science, advanced analytical skills in healthcare and life science industry, with a clear understanding of last edge data & AI technology stack architecture’s scope and tooling.
- Working knowledge of Design Thinking, system and service design, development, and implementation of solutions with emotional intelligence, directing an analytics initiative from ideation through production and adoption.
- Strong networker who gives direction and drives for decisions, brings people together while always keeping the customer in mind. Demonstrated Agile mindset and experience working in DevOps products teams.
- Outstanding communication skills in English and Italian to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, with a proven ability to establish and maintain business relationships.
- Proactive, with the ability to confidently navigate ambiguous and difficult situations, resolve conflicts, and build consensus.
