Demand Planner

THE POSITION 

The candidate will join the pharmaceutical industry in a very dynamic and challenging environment as a Demand Specialist. With this role, the candidate will be reporting to the Demand Manager within Supply Chain Management of Boehringer Ingelheim in Milan.

Responsibilities:  

• Planning of finished product orders based on the sales forecast.
• Support to the Sales and Operation Process Governance.
• Inventory management (stock level control, DOI, avoiding stock-out and surplus).
• Accountability for Material Master Data Management for finished products.
• Key contact person to Local and Global functions/teams.
• Coordinate and support customs clearance process management for goods coming from extra-EU Countries.
• Provide with weekly and monthly local/global reports (ie: stock coverage, out of stock tracking, Forecast Accuracy, Supply impact report, Back order, etc).
• Local GRP and BIX@ coordinator, Logistic incident Management, Starter and Requester for planning SKU.
• Monitor goods receipt at local 3PL warehouse and inbound process.

Requirements: 

• Strong interest in planning and logistics.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and possibly SAP ERP, GRP, BIX@.
• Preferred Degree in Engineering or Economics.
• Fluent English written and oral communication skills.
• Good analytical skills, working with large data sets.
• Good communication, organizational and Team working skills.
• Ability to thrive under pressure.
• Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities.
