Commercial Excellence Junior Business Partner

THE POSITION

The Commercial Excellence Team is part of our Human Pharma Customer Experience Excellence department which has a very dynamic and diverse composition in terms of accountabilities, areas of expertise and backgrounds.

As Junior Business Partner you will support and co-work with business functions (Marketing, Sales, Market Access, Trade Management, Medical Affairs) to understand market trend and opportunities, set a valuable framework for strategic decision-making, support execution and launch excellence.

 

Responsibilities

  • Guarantee accurate forecasting by evaluating different scenarios to define market opportunities and support the financial planning process.
  • Contribute to strategic discussion with a data-driven approach by bridging technical expertise in performance analyses with business acumen and by sharing relevant insights deduced by connecting different data sets (sales, patients, distribution, etc).
  • Be responsible for Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) operational activities that are necessary to ensure the Execution Excellence by monitoring specific KPIs and running simulations/analyses to help define territory design and call plan business rules.
  • Support design and implementation of sales force incentives scheme.
  • Support business processes (segmentation, Integrated Customer Plan, etc) by providing analyses and valuable insights on the outcomes to continuously improve our customer knowledge.
  • Collaborate with other CXE teams as “business consultants” during the development of tools/market research/activities to maximize each other expertise in creating value for the Company.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor/Master degree in Economics and/or Engineering or relevant professional experience.
  • 2+ years proven experience in Business Analyst or similar roles in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Good knowledge of “prescription medicine” pharmaceutical market data sources.
  • Proven expertise in data analysis, business modelling, forecasting.
  • Good technical skills in working with Microsoft Office Suite (mostly Excel, Power Point, etc).
  • Good knowledge of SFE activities and Veeva CRM system.
  • Planning and project management skills.
  • Curiosity, Innovative and Think-out-of-the-box mindset.
  • Business acumen and problem solving.
  • Basic knowledge of AI and curiosity in exploring AI implementations.
  • Fluent in English and Italian (written and verbal communication).
