Senior Product Manager
The Position
The Senior Product Manager is responsible for executing brand strategies to maximize customer engagement and business performance. This role ensures alignment across cross-functional teams and drives the success of assigned brands within the Operating Unit (OPU).
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy Execution
- Develop and implement brand strategies in alignment with OPU objectives.
- Drive achievement of sales, market share, and profitability targets.
- Provide local insights to influence Regional OPU brand strategies.
2. Business Planning & Operational Execution
- Contribute to the Long-Term Forecast (LTF) and Outlook by providing sales and investment plans.
- Develop and implement the OPU Operational Plan, including customer engagement initiatives.
- Validate ROPU brand CSFs and contribute to KPI development.
3. Launch Readiness
- Lead local launch readiness processes and ensure milestone achievement.
- Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Sales, and Market Access for successful product launches.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Align with Medical Affairs and Sales to ensure cohesive brand execution.
- Collaborate with ROPU Marketing Leads and provide regular feedback on market, customer, and competitor insights.
- Organize and lead cross-functional team meetings to ensure strategic alignment.
5. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Manage the brand’s Direct Promotion (DP) budget.
- Partner with Commercial Operations to monitor KPIs and market share trends.
- Provide timely updates and insights to local marketing management.
6. Customer Engagement
- Develop and execute medico-marketing initiatives (e.g., CME, expert engagement, multichannel campaigns).
- Represent customer needs in internal planning and decision-making.
- Support Go to Market transformation and adoption of digital platforms for enhanced engagement.
7. People & Knowledge Sharing
- Support knowledge and skill sharing across the organization.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders within the OPU.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing and sales, preferably with a focus on Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), Heart Failure, or Type 2 Diabetes (T2D), Cardio Metabolic Renal (CRM) therapeutic areas.
- Proven track record of success in brand management.
- Strong Leadership skills necessary to lead cross functional brand team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and operational focus.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and market trends.
