Healthcare Affairs Manager
The Position
Contribute to the monitoring, interpretation and shaping of developments and gaps in healthcare policies and healthcare delivery for our current and future HP product portfolio. Support the development and execution of Healthcare Affairs plans to proactively address care gaps and appropriately position BI products for adoption and rationale use in clinical practice within the healthcare system (i.e. through guidelines, protocols, algorithms).
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop deep insights into the relationships amongst stakeholders within the healthcare system (e.g., payers, Government officials, industry associations, patient advocacy groups, providers).
- Contribute to the development of partnerships with selected healthcare system stakeholders. Responsible for the execution of integrated healthcare solutions.
- Support the demonstration of improved outcomes for patients and the healthcare system with BI products and solutions to generate advocacy, support patient access and market development.
- Key contributor to the development of Healthcare Affairs plans and ensuring they are appropriately reflected in ICPs. Participation and other cross-functional teams as required.
- Active participation in relevant Industry Association sub-committees/working groups.
- Support aligned and compliant Healthcare Affairs activities and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and/or post-graduate qualification in pharmacy, epidemiology, health economics or economics, public health, biostatistics or related fields.
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience; working knowledge of local pharmaceutical market policies.
- Pharmaceuticals or healthcare delivery experience is a must.
- Strong understanding of the local healthcare system, key stakeholders, relevant healthcare policies and processes, and current gaps.
- Deep insights into the local healthcare system and its stakeholders.
- Experience working in or partnership with healthcare organizations highly valued.
- Aligned with and act at all times within the local pharmaceutical standards/ethics.
- Commercial acumen and ability to communicate complex topics.
- Good written and oral communication skills; fluent in both English and Filipino.
- Good interpersonal and social skills.
- Good time management, planning and prioritization skills.
