Head of Business Segment, Companion Animals
THE POSITION
You will lead the species/ business in the achievement of its sales targets, execution of meaningful and impactful marketing campaigns and activities, manage distributors and government tenders, build strong customer relationships, all in alignment with Global and Regional strategies.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible to meet/exceed the sales budgets (value and product mix, productivity, market share development) of the companion animals business in the operating unit (OPU)
- In alignment with the Regional and Global direction, develops an OPU plan to maximize resource utilization and ensure execution excellence, targeting most valuable customers while also evaluating and developing new customers
- Convert and communicate global/regional brand strategies into meaningful and impactful marketing campaigns in the OPU
- Manages distributors including target settings, follow-ups, monthly meetings, providing inspiring incentive plans for distributor and distributor Field Force
- Responsible for leading the teams (sales, technical, and marketing) to ensure short and long term objectives are achieved, with collaboration from other functions
- Responsible for the rollout and embedding of Customer Engagement Excellence programs, processes, and tools within the business segment. Strengthen business position by building a sustainable & key customer focused relationships
- Lead, coach, develop team members to ensure optimal individual / team performance
- Establish the plan for government tender business and build relationships with stakeholders
About our future employee:
- Degree in Veterinary, Life Sciences, Marketing or any related course
- Experience in leadership in sales and marketing team or alike, including working in a matrix environment
- Experience in Life Sciences, Pharma or FMCG industries is preferred
- Strong financial acumen and entrepreneurial business skills
- Demonstrated strategic thinking, initiative, creativity, and proven track record for innovation
- Excellent written,verbal communication and presentation skills along with outstanding interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and ability to work under changing and ambiguous conditions, requiring continuous re-prioritization of work activities
- Performs all Company business in accordance with all regulations and Company policies and procedures
