Lytics Medical Educator

THE POSITION

Are you a clinically experienced healthcare professional with a passion for education and improving patient outcomes? Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a dynamic Medical Educator to join our Lytics team, focused on delivering impactful education to NHS teams managing Acute Ischaemic Stroke (AIS) and thrombolysis patients. This is a high-profile role that blends clinical expertise, strategic collaboration, and educational innovation.

This is a home/field-based role with national travel required to support key accounts as needed. Occasional attendance at the Bracknell office will also be necessary for key meetings.

 

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Educational Leadership: Co-create and deliver structured, high-quality medical education programmes tailored to multidisciplinary NHS teams.
  • Customer Engagement: Identify healthcare professionals’ educational needs and deliver relevant, evidence-based content that enhances clinical practice.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (Medical, Marketing, Market Access) and NHS stakeholders to ensure alignment and impact.
  • Insight & Impact: Capture and share insights from NHS environments, evaluate educational outcomes, and adapt programmes to maximise effectiveness.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, educators, and NHS professionals to foster trust and collaboration.
  • Compliance & Travel: Operate within regulatory frameworks (ABPI/IPHA) and travel across UK & Ireland to deliver education, with virtual flexibility.

 

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:

  • UK HCP involved in acute stroke therapy e.g.  qualified specialist nurse
  • ABPI (UK) / MRII (Ireland) qualification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Clean driving licence
  • IT literate (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)

Experience & Skills:

  • Significant NHS clinical experience, ideally in stroke or related therapy areas
  • An understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including the roles and interactions of commercial and medical teams, and how these functions collaborate to ensure compliance, scientific integrity, and patient-centric outcomes
  • Proven ability to communicate complex medical information clearly
  • Experience in designing and delivering impactful education
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Collaborative mindset with cross-functional working capabilities
  • Passion for improving patient care through education
