As one of our Territory Managers CRM (Cardio - Renal – Metabolic) you will create new ways to cooperate with your customers and make a difference to improve patients’ lives.
In this role, you will be responsible for achieving the sales and market share objectives in your assigned territory by cultivating strategic partnerships and creating value adding offerings that bring engagement with Health Care Professionals (HCPs) and experts.
This is a field-based position requiring travelling within Portugal. You will report directly to the local District Manager.
We have multiple openings for this role across the country:
-North: 2 positions
-Center: 3 positions
-South: 4 positions
-Açores: 1 position

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Communicate and exchange medical and scientific information with health care professionals.
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships and partnerships with new and existing customers in the healthcare centers and hospitals.
- Develop, manage, and execute integrated customer/account plans based on data-driven insights.
- Identify and implement territory-specific activities to enhance engagement with healthcare professionals.
- Maintain and utilize exceptional product knowledge and highly effective selling skills.
- Define and execute the agreed sales action plan.
- Apply the Customer Engagement Model to facilitate HCP’s decision-making process and adoption of Boehringer Ingelheim’s products.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TEAM
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Healthcare or related field.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years in pharmaceutical sales.
- Experience and having a network in the Cardio-Renal-Metabolic therapeutic area is a big plus.
- You have highly effective selling and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with Health Care Professionals (HCPs) to better understand their needs.
- Interest in digital sales tools and in discovering new ways to make the best use of these tools: ‘outside the box mind-set’ with ability to engage customers in new digital platforms
- You enjoy working in team environment as well as independently.
- Agile mind-set and ability to quickly turn data into insights and insights into actions.
- Excellent command of Portuguese (native speaker) and good knowledge of English is required.
- Valid Driver's License.
