Stroke Care Programme Specialist

The Position

 

As a Stroke Care Programme Specialist, you'll lead the implementation of the ANGELS Initiative within selected hospitals, driving measurable improvements against stroke care KPIs. You'll collaborate closely with healthcare stakeholders to execute in-hospital action plans, deploy education and simulation tools, and support the development of stroke champions while improving patient access and readiness while reuquiring full adherence to company and industry compliance standards.

 

Tasks and Responsibilities

1. Drive and ensure achievement in ANGELS program KPIs 

    • Registration of hospitals under ANGELS Initiative 
    • Develop Stroke Centers/Targeted List 
    • Improved thrombolysis rate & development of stroke-ready hospitals as per operational plans
    • Analysis of baseline audit and successful implementation of target activities 
    • Develop and customize hospital inputs (ANGELS tools) via consultation process

2. Define goals and set hospital project plan 

• Define quantitative goals/objectives (hospital stroke development status, thrombolysis rates etc.)

• Define qualitative goals/objectives (treatment guideline consideration, openness to collaborate, develop action

plan)

• Aligning to ANGELS specific plans 

  1. Activities: Description and timing of activity, stakeholders involved  
  2. Resources: Available resources such as academic papers/literature, regulatory supporting documents,  registry documents, etc.

3. Relationship management with hospital stakeholders 

• Maintain updated and complete target hospital database

• Develop / validate effective ANGELS Action Plans

• Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders in target hospitals to improve stroke care

• Track achievement of ANGELS Action Plans and take corrective actions to ensure that target hospital

categorizations are met on priority

• Utilizes Veeva or other BI supporting analysis processes to plan activities

4. Execute Hospital Project Plans and Activities with excellence 

• Validate and fully understand the Hospital Project Plans and planned Activities (e.g. simulation, multi-disciplinary meetings, etc.)

• Plan for logistics to execute the Hospital Project Plans

• Execute an effective Hospital Project Plan with the objective of maximizing identified opportunities to ensure achievement of ANGELS KPI

5. Data management and Reporting 

• Provides consistent, timely and complete administrative duties and responsibilities

• Maintain and update hospital resource forms, records and tracks door to needle time and other stroke

management KPIs in consulted institutions

• Prepares and provides ad hoc reports as requested by Management team

6. Comply with local regulations, industry and company Code of Conduct (COC) 

• Comply with all regulations regarding interactions with healthcare professionals and follow company Code of Conduct

• Take necessary actions on issues of compliance

• Be a role model in complying with local regulations, industry and company code of conduct

 

Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Pharmacy, Allied Health, Public Health, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus
    • Minimum 1  years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical device industries, hospital operations, healthcare programme implementation, or medical stakeholder engagement
    • Understanding of stroke care processes and treatment, stroke pathways,
    • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary healthcare initiatives and conducting gap analyses or simulation training
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills for both clinical and community engagement
    • Proven ability to work with external partners such as hospitals, agencies, and healthcare providers
    • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and timeline tracking
    • Working knowledge of compliance frameworks, healthcare regulations, and internal governance policies
    • Proactive, collaborative, and solutions-oriented approach to programme execution
