Sr Medical Rep, Lytics Specialist

The Position

  • You will get the chance to pioneer the launch of a new Lytics product and be a change agent to better  stroke care and acute myocardial infarction (AMI) services in Malaysia.
  • You will interact with various different stakeholders involved in the care journey of stroke patients/AMI gathering insights, developing strategy/tactics to unlock or remove barriers to better stroke care services.
  • As the only in-field customer facing personnel, you will get to work with cross functional brand team to design and execute initiatives for the new launch Lytics product.

Duties & Responsibilities

Drive Strategic Account and Territory Performance - meet/exceed sales targets for assigned product(s) within a designated territory through achievement of related quantitative/qualitative strategic account KPIs.

Strategic Account Planning - Lead development of cross-functional strategic account plans based on robust understanding of patient journey, account potential, current contribution, drivers, barriers, key stakeholders, critical success factors, resources required and desired outcomes.

Strategic Account Plan Execution – Lead the successful execution of strategic account plan objectives, ensuring tailored customer interactions, strengthening partnerships with stakeholders. Implement Multi Channel Cycle Plans and drive strategic initiatives to achieve defined qualitative and quantitative KPIs.

Demonstrate Superior Customer Engagement Capability - Build and sustain strong strategic relationships with key account stakeholders. Effective Knowledge depth and effective Customer Engagement Skill proficiency. Digitally fluent/ tech savvy, capable and confident in presenting.

Adhere to Compliance, Code of Conduct and Policies - Responsible for ensuring all company, industry or strategic account compliance requirements are understood, adhered to and established local compliance processes are followed

About Our Future Employee

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Health Sciences, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • At least 4 years of experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or medical device sales, including experience supporting new product launches and/or engaging with public healthcare institutions such as Ministry of Health (MOH) or Ministry of Education (MOE) hospitals.
  • Experience collaborating with professional medical societies, healthcare councils, Ministry of Health state offices (JKN), hospital management teams, or other relevant healthcare stakeholders.
  • Experience within neurology and/or cardiology therapeutic areas.
  • Demonstrated experience in Strategic Account Management and/or Key Account Management, including the ability to develop account strategies and tactical plans based on customer insights, patient pathways, prescribing trends, stakeholder mapping, and healthcare ecosystem understanding.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders while delivering business objectives in a compliant and ethical manner.
  • Strong understanding of the Malaysian public healthcare system, including public hospitals, healthcare services, and relevant healthcare infrastructure.
  • Ability to effectively interpret and present scientific and clinical information to healthcare professionals and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with proficiency in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently and work outside standard business hours, including weekends, when required to support business needs, customer engagements, and healthcare-related events and activities.
