Key Account Executive (Oncology)

The Position

The Key Account Executive (Oncology) is responsible for driving sales growth and achieving assigned targets for the oncology portfolio through effective customer engagement and key account management. The role focuses on building strong relationships with healthcare professionals, executing strategic account plans, maximizing sales and tender opportunities, and delivering excellent customer experiences through both face-to-face and digital interactions. The position also ensures full compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Drive sales achievement and customer engagement by ensuring product availability, generating demand, identifying growth opportunities, executing multi-channel plans, regular reporting, and leveraging Veeva CRM tools and digital channels to strengthen HCP relationships and achieve business objectives.
  • Demonstrate superior knowledge (Disease, Clinical Trials, Product, Marketing strategy, Competitor intelligence and Environment). Demonstrate superior Customer Engagement Skills (CEM, CSM, CEM Situational, ECiP, Engaging Customers with FuE etc.) in line with Marketing strategies.
  • Drive key account performance by achieving and exceeding annual sales targets, patient acquisition goals, hospital listings, and other strategic account objectives, while consistently delivering both qualitative and quantitative KPIs.
  • Ensure full compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and the company Code of Conduct in all interactions with healthcare professionals.

About Our Future Employee

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences
  • Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical/life sciences industry, with at least 2 years of sales experience, preferably in government hospitals and specialty or rare disease portfolios.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets, driving business growth, and identifying new market opportunities.
  • Proficient in multi-channel planning and execution, with strong strategic thinking, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong English proficiency, digital/IT literacy, and a commitment to continuous learning and self-development.
  • Ability to effectively manage and support field-based activities across Malaysia, including nationwide territory coverage, customer engagement, and stakeholder management.
