THE OPPORTUNITY
Boehringer Ingelheim's site in Koropi, Greece, is a vital facility dedicated to the production of high-quality pharmaceutical products. Established in a strategic location near Athens, the Koropi site has played a significant role in the company's global operations, focusing on manufacturing and distribution. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional who wants to be part of a truly innovative and revolutionary team!
As we continue to expand and upgrade our facilities, we are looking for talented individuals to support the deployment of OPEX Prime within the site. You will play a crucial role in contributing to the implementation of OPEX Prime as a local framework, driving operational excellence and efficiency through training, and coaching. You will interface directly with all local teams across functions and organizational levels to embed OPEX Prime practices.
This position reports directly to the OPEX Prime Manager. Kindly note that the role requires on-site presence.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the local deployment and implementation of the OPEX Prime production system in line with the designed strategy.
- Ensure departments apply the OPEX Prime system consistently at site level.
- Execute local OPEX Prime improvement projects.
- Conduct local capability training aligned with the OPEX Prime framework including: Enhancing problem-solving and root-cause analysis, supporting decision making by analyzing complex operational data from multiple sources and guiding cross-functional teams into the solution. And, providing training to new cell structure teams (e.g., Cell Supervisors, Cell Maintenance Experts, Cell Process Experts).
- Support the organization in ensuring permanent compliance with all current GxP and regulatory requirements, including Boehringer Ingelheim internal procedures.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TEAM
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Chemistry or Business Administration.
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification or lean manufacturing/ operation excellence experience.
- At least 3 years of experience within a production environment (preferably pharmaceutical).
- Fluent in Greek and English.
- Proven management skills, including coaching site leaders, project management, change management, and budgeting.
- A result-oriented approach, strong teamwork and collaboration abilities, and effective communication skills.
