UX Researcher/Designer
The Position

Tasks & responsibilities
- In your new role, you will lead user experience research and design efforts for digital products within Data Products and Portfolio team.
- You will define and refine user stories and journeys through iterative, rapid prototyping cycles as well as conduct usability testing and implement continuous improvements to optimize user experiences.
- Furthermore, you will design wireframes, mockups and interactive prototypes to illustrate user flows and interactions effectively.
- You will translate complex user needs into clear, actionable insights while aligning with business partner product visions.
- Moreover, you will collaborate closely with Development Teams to implement fully functional user interface configurations as well as apply agile methodologies in collaboration with product teams to ensure seamless integration of UX processes.
- You will provide expert consultation and influence key stakeholders, including senior and executive management, to drive user-centered design decisions.
- In addition, you will perform in-depth user research using advanced methodologies to establish configuration principles and inform design strategies.
- You will independently plan, organize, and facilitate workshops to align stakeholders and drive project success.
- You will also enable accessible, seamless product experiences along Digital Design Style guides as well as support inhouse events with conception, creation and production of marketing material, merchandising or booth design.
Requirements
- Master’s degree with relevant professional experience, or a bachelor’s degree with extensive expertise in the field
- Several years of experience in software design, wireframing, prototyping, or working within agile methodologies
- Experience in using technology to solve complex business challenges effectively
- Skilled at understanding user needs, including those that may not be explicitly expressed, with strong empathy for users and a passion for enhancing user experiences
- Ability to clearly and concisely articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences as well as to foster trusting collaboration between teams and product owners
- Ability to translate abstract concepts into actionable design solutions with a willingness to assume ownership of solutions and methodologies, advocating for user needs
- Fluent in written and spoken English. Additional language skill in German is a plus.
