Senior Process Technologist - Manufacturing

The Position

Are you an experienced process technologist eager to take on new challenges?  
Join our MSAT team and lead complex global technology transfers, optimize pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, prepare launches, and drive innovation. As part of our MSAT team, you will work at the interface of R&D and our global production network including external manufacturing partners, ensuring robust and efficient solid dosage manufacturing. 


Tasks & responsibilities 

  • In your new role you will lead technology transfers and continuous process improvement projects to ensure efficient and GMP-compliant commercial manufacturing. 
  • You will collaborate with global crossfunctional teams and contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs) to prepare process validation and commercial launch of pipeline products. 
  • Furthermore, you will apply your expertise to investigate and solve complex technical challenges in pharmaceutical production ensuring process robustness and reliable market supply. 
  • Moreover, you will use digital tools and advanced analytics to enhance process efficiency and understanding. 
  • With your expertise, you will identify and implement data-driven solutions to optimize production processes.  


Requirements 

  • Master's degree in pharmacy, pharmaceutical technology, chemical engineering, or related field 
  • Relevant experience in pharmaceutical solid production technologies and project management 
  • Technical understanding of manufacturing equipment, its processes and the impact on product quality 
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to design complex experiments, analyze data, and draw conclusions. Experience with digitalization, statistical software, and utilization of artificial intelligence is a plus 
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel abroad frequently (continental and intercontinental) for 2-3 week periods  
  • Agile, committed team player with a proactive mindset 
  • Excellent English and German communication skills and professional demeanor when dealing with external partners
