The Position

With our Eye Health programs now in Phase II, we are entering an exciting new chapter in our mission to stop preventable vision loss. Just over a decade ago, we began our journey in Eye Health, building on our deep expertise in cardiovascular-renal-metabolic diseases, including diabetes. Recognizing early on that vision loss is one of the most feared complications for people with retinal conditions, we have made significant progress, now advancing four assets in Phase II and multiple others in early development.

As the Senior Pricing and Access Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Eye Health. You will lead Market Access and Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) activities for our Eye Health pipeline compounds and potential Business Development & Licensing (BD&L) opportunities, working in close collaboration with the Innovation Unit.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Take ownership of developing and implementing long-term pricing and Market Access strategies for new products across key markets, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and fostering collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Focus on generating evidence to secure optimal market and patient access, enabling successful HTA assessments, pricing, reimbursement, and formulary listings on a global scale.
  • Apply expertise in international reference pricing systems, value communication, and reimbursement modeling to support global pricing strategies.
  • Ensure Target Product Profiles (TPPs) reflect payer requirements and clinical development aligns to TPPs.
  • Oversee asset lifecycle management from Start of Development (SoD) to Proof of Concept (PoC).

Requirements

  • Long-term pharma industry experience, with positions in the areas of, pricing & reimbursement, consulting or payer authorities (essential)
  • Few years working experience in a pharmaceutical company in a global role (essential)
  • Few years international exposure
  • Strong track record in Price management, value generation, demonstration and/or communication
  • Highly experienced in conducting Payer relevant research across multiple speciality disciplines (e.g. pricing and contracting, international price systems, innovative access models)
  • HEOR expertise strongly favored
  • Scientific education and Ophthalmology experience is a plus
