Senior Manager Technical E-Discovery
The Position
Join a high-impact Legal team at the intersection of technology, law, and dispute resolution, where you will shape and optimize cutting-edge e-discovery processes using RelativityOne.
In this pivotal role, you will establish and maintain a scalable, legally defensible framework for Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) compliance, driving automation and advancing our technology stack.
This position is part time eligible with 80%.
Tasks & responsibilities
- As an E-Discovery Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the company's e-discovery processes and workflows, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and implementing best practices for e-discovery.
- You will administer the RelativityOne e-discovery platform, including creating and configuring workspaces; collecting, managing and processing data (including RSMF); managing users and permissions. You will manage Relativity Integration Points and report on e-discovery metrics, including project status, timelines, and costs.
- Furthermore, you will advise global legal teams in the design and implementation of efficient and effective document review processes in RelativityOne. Moreover, you will train and support legal teams on the use, including best practices for document review and quality control.
- You will monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, escalating to RelativityOne support as needed.
- You will keep your knowledge of the latest RelativityOne updates and new features on the market up to date and assess their potential impact on our e-discovery processes.
- As an expert for RelativityOne, you will ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to e-discovery, data privacy, and information governance.
- In addition, you will communicate regularly with stakeholders and project team members to ensure that e-discovery projects are on track and meet requirements.
- Finally, you will manage relationships with e-discovery vendors and service providers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s and master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a comparable field paired with few years of experience in technical eDiscovery, digital forensics, or legal technology roles within a corporate environment or at a legal service provider
- Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA) or equivalent certification
- Multi-year hands-on experience with e-discovery tools and software, experience administering RelativityOne
- Proven experience working with legal teams and supporting their e-discovery needs
- Strong understanding of e-discovery best practices and document review workflows
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Fluent in German and English
