Senior Manager Strategic Planning

The Position


We are seeking a dedicated and visionary Senior Manager Strategic Planning to play a key role in shaping our future.
You will independently take on the conception, planning, and execution of complex strategic projects. Through in-depth quantitative and qualitative analyses, you will generate strategic insights and derive concrete recommendations for decisions at the highest leadership level.

You will actively contribute to the optimization of our operational processes to enhance the efficiency of Human Pharma Germany (HPG). In doing so, you will always ensure compliance with Boehringer Ingelheim's global strategy and the highest compliance standards.

Tasks and Responsibilities

 
  • In your role as Senior Manager Strategic Planning, you will be responsible for planning, leading, and implementing strategic, cross-functional HPG projects to advance development in this unit through strategies and measures.
  • You will plan and coordinate strategic, overarching projects and milestones to best represent HPG to internal and external stakeholders.
  • With your expertise, you will also develop further topics that directly contribute to the company's success. This includes, for example, the development and later implementation of a strategy for HPG.
  • Moreover, you will take on the professional leadership and content development of junior project managers within the framework of strategic projects, as well as the onboarding and subsequent support of new employees and external project providers.
  • As a Change Agent, you will coordinate HPG milestones to make our processes more efficient and transparent for the organization.
  • In addition, you will identify, evaluate, and develop measures and concepts for business development in cross-functional teams for the strategy-compliant, future-oriented, and result-oriented further development of the business, and accompany the development and implementation of these. This includes the assessment and preparation of potential alliances and their support.
 

Requirements

 
  • A successfully completed Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Health Economics, Natural Sciences, or a comparable degree program forms the basis of your qualification.
  • You bring several years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and have profound expertise in the development and implementation of GTM models, Business Steering & Transformation, Change Management, and Business Analysis.an advantage.
  • Your excellent knowledge of pharmaceutical processes, including Research and Development (R&D), market authorization/regulatory requirements (FSA, AMG, etc.), marketing, and sales distinguish you. Relevant professional experience in TopTier management consulting is prefered.
  • With your pronounced strategic and solution-oriented thinking and experience in cross-functional work in a large organizational unit, you are capable of leading complex projects, developing long-term visions, and driving transformations.
  • Your excellent analytical and strategic skills, your affinity for digital topics, and your customer orientation complete your profile.
  • You have excellent presentation and communication skills, even with senior management, flexibility in handling complex topics, and fluent German and English language skills.
