As a Senior Manager Strategic Marketing within our Corporate Therapeutic Area Oncology, you will drive the commercial product strategy and implementation for Zongertinib in Breast Cancer. You will play a vital role in shaping the strategic definition of our offerings and positioning, ensuring that our products meet the needs of real-world customers and their ecosystem. You will be involved throughout the entire product lifecycle, from development to launch.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Lead strategic marketing throughout the entire brand lifecycle, from launch to successful global commercialization.
- Develop patient, customer, and competitive insights through activities such as stakeholder mapping, patient flow assessments, competitive positioning assessments, and advisory board preparations. These insights will inform the competitive positioning of your brand.
- Shape the strategic planning for the product, including defining the desired patient flow in areas without therapeutic precedence, go-to-market modeling, patient advocacy strategy development, forecasting, and supply planning.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across Market Access, Patient Advocacy, Epidemiology, Market Research, Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Research, and Regulatory. You will ensure that commercial value needs are represented across all customer types and that strategies align with the overarching brand, indication, and portfolio strategy. Lead preparations for corporate Launch Readiness Reviews (LRRs) and actively participate in LRR meetings with focus markets.
- Support Operating Units (OPUs) in the local adaptation and implementation of global brand strategies and content, acting as a dedicated brand team representative assigned to one of our focus markets.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in science or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
- Extensive marketing experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector, with proven expertise in product commercialization on local and global scales (preferably including US experience).
- Several years of experience in Oncology, ideally with a focus on Breast Cancer, and strong product launch experience.
- General understanding of medical practices, FDA/EMEA regulatory processes, advertising/promotion guidelines, market research tools, and forecasting techniques.
- Proven ability to interface with senior management, work cross-functionally in a matrixed organization, and manage projects effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, and databases, with a willingness to travel internationally, including overnight trips.
