Senior Manager Global Customs

The Position 

Are you looking for a new challenge in the turbulent environment of global customs? Do you like to develop and implement strategies to manage customs and trade compliance risks in a multinational company?   

Tasks & responsibilities 

• You provide concepts and guiding principles for a global customs compliance framework.
• Strategically important business projects related to customs matters will be driven and designed by you.
• Acting as a competent business partner, you will collaborate closely with senior management across various functions such as Finance, SCM, and R&D.
• By leveraging innovative customs solutions and state-of-the-art technology, you will enable and support diverse business models.
• You seek to permanently improve customs processes and organisation within an international environment.  

Requirements 

• You have a Master's degree (e.g. MBA, MSC) with the focus on Customs & foreign trade or logistics.
• You bring long term work experience regarding foreign trade and customs in a multinational company.
• Profound knowledge of international customs and foreign trade law.
• Your excellent project management and communication skills set you apart.
• Good knowledge of ERP and customs systems.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a highly volatile and specialized environment.
• Fluent English and German language skills.
• Being a strong team player is one of your key attributes.
