Senior Legal Counsel
The Position
Be part of a purpose-driven Legal Human Pharma team in Ingelheim, where your legal expertise directly enables innovation in medicine and patient-centric initiatives. Work at the intersection of laws and science and advise on cutting-edge initiatives that bring impact to generations.
This is a fixed-term opportunity for 1 year (planned to start mid-January 2026) to cover parental leave, offering hybrid working model and the chance to make a meaningful impact from day one.
Tasks & responsibilities
- In this role, you will act as a trusted legal business partner for the Corporate Medicine function, advise Regulatory Affairs, Quality Medicine, Patient Safety teams and real-world evidence topics.
- You will deliver legal assessments and co-develop solutions that enable the innovative business initiatives.
- You will also monitor and interpret legal developments, evaluate their impact on business operations and strategic initiatives.
- Furthermore, you will streamline processes and contribute to the enhancement of contract templates for the real-world evidence generation.
- Lastly, you will collaborate cross-functionally and globally to foster a proactive and solution-oriented culture.
Requirements
- Legal professional with bar qualification in one of the European countries or equivalent, long term legal practice experience, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry
- Strong expertise in pharmaceutical law, regulatory, quality, and pharmacovigilance matters for medicine development and commercialization
- Solid understanding of the GCP framework and its legal implications in the clinical trials
- Experience with real-world evidence generation is a plus
- Excellent communication in English and stakeholder management skills
