Senior Global NTA Manager

The Position


The Senior Global NTA Manager plays a crucial role in driving the success of NTA projects within Boehringer Ingelheim. This role holds significant responsibility for overseeing the NTA management, assessment, review, and approval process across all stakeholders within Corporate and (R)OPU functions.

By making informed decisions on NTA projects, the Senior Global NTA Manager ensures compliance with regulatory requirements by establishing and maintaining global NTA standards and guidelines, while meeting the strategic needs of the business ensuring consistency and excellence in project execution.

As Senior Global NTA Manager, you will serve as a catalyst for customer/patient centricity by effectively managing projects related to primary market research and patient support programs, contributing directly to the organization's goal of putting customers and patients at the forefront of everything we do.


Tasks & responsibilities

 
  • In your new role, you will act as the primary point of contact for corporate project owners, providing guidance and support from the planning phase onwards.
  • With your expertise, you will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on a corporate level, providing expertise and guidance to corporate stakeholders, (R)OPUs and for audit and inspection purposes.
  • Additionally, you will make final decisions on Corporate NTA projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives and compliance with relevant guidelines.
  • By collaborating with the NTA Global Capability Owner (GCO), you will ensure adherence and compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Furthermore, you will be responsible for reporting any identified deviations from established processes or guidelines, ensuring prompt resolution and corrective actions.
  • To promote understanding and adherence to NTA processes and guidelines, you will develop and disseminate awareness information across corporate teams.


Requirements

 

  • Master's or bachelor's degree in Business or Health Sciences, or equivalent degree with long-term professional experience in pharmaceutical industry in Medicine, Market Research, Commercial Operations, Pharmacovigilance, Quality medicine or similar
  • Strong project and process management skills with excellent prioritization and stakeholder management skills combined with experience in change management
  • Very good sense of customer orientation and experience in successfully collaborating with internal and external partners in customer-facing and/or marketing excellence initiatives
  • Proven track record of successful cross-functional collaboration/leadership as well as strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Good knowledge of the market dynamics combined with operational experience in something similar to what Boehringer Ingelheim defines as NTA management and/or Pharmacovigilance is a plus
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with fluency in oral and written English; further language skills would be an asset
