We're looking for a seasoned Senior Customer Insights & Forecasting (CIF) Analyst with a strong background in analytics and insights to join our German team. Your role will involve generating insights from internal and external market data, market research, developing sales forecasts, tracking brand performance, and leading projects.

Tasks & responsibilities
- In your new role, you will take ownership of a pipeline brand in the German cardio, renal, and metabolic (CRM) market. Bringing key professional and methodological competencies to the team, you will collaborate with a Therapeutic Area to generate insights and derive actionable recommendations based on internal and external market trends, primary and secondary market research, and prescription data.
- With your expertise, you will develop forecasts and scenario planning in close collaboration with the business, while supporting local Brand Management with standard and ad-hoc analyses, always ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- You will lead primary and secondary market research together with local TA, Global teams, and external providers—from defining objectives and hypotheses to selecting qualitative and quantitative methods and uncovering insights into customer behavior and pharma trends.
- Furthermore, you will present key findings and strategic recommendations to stakeholders and senior management and will manage collaborations with external research partners.
- By fostering collaboration between Therapeutic Areas, Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Global Insights teams for integrated decision-making, you will drive cross-functional alignment. Together with the CXE Head, you will act as a strategic sparring partner to the local TA Head to define KBQs and execute analyses.
- Additionally, you will provide thought leadership and mentorship, advising senior leadership on market dynamics and emerging CRM trends while developing junior team members to strengthen analytical excellence and business acumen.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, business informatics, or health sciences (e.g., Pharmacy, Medicine, Biology); advanced qualifications such as a Master’s degree or PhD are desirable
- Several years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or life sciences consulting, with a strong background in analytics, sales forecasting, and market research; additional exposure to consumer-driven markets (e.g., Weight Management, OTC, wellness) is a plus
- Proficiency in data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau), including the ability to create interactive dashboards and interpret complex datasets; expertise in advanced analytics methodologies such as predictive modeling, machine learning, or RWE analytics
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain data, translate insights into actionable recommendations, and influence decision-making at senior and executive levels
- Proven leadership and project management capabilities, including experience leading cross-functional teams or initiatives, mentoring junior team members, and driving change management practices
- High intrinsic motivation and strategic mindset, combining business acumen, innovative problem-solving, and excellent presentation skills in both German and English
