Project Manager Compliance & Integrity

The position

Join our dynamic Corporate Compliance & Integrity (C&I) team at Boehringer Ingelheim, where we drive a risk-based and business-centric compliance management system.

As Project Manager Compliance & Integrity, you will be a key player in our team, leading selected high-priority projects, spanning transformational, strategic, tactical, and organizational initiatives. This role also involves coaching and advising project leads across C&I functions, enabling the seamless execution of our C&I strategy and fostering operational and organizational growth and enhancement.

This position has a hybrid setup with minimum 2 days per week on site.

Tasks & responsibilities

• In your new role you will independently lead local and global C&I-wide projects with high complexity related to our global compliance management framework and compliance processes, including preparation of decisions for relevant management teams and steering committees.
• You will be at the forefront, guiding cross-functional, international teams staffed with both internal and external resources.
• Your role will involve crafting the project's blueprint, setting its objectives, phases, timelines, staffing, and key milestones, based on senior leadership guidance.
• Fostering a harmonious relationship, you will ensure close collaboration with stakeholders.
• In addition, you will be responsible for a defined project budget.
• Lastly, you will promote and drive new working methodologies, fostering an agile mindset, and a culture of excellence and (technologic) innovation to ensure consistent and systematic approaches.

Requirements

• Master’s degree and/ or Diploma in business administration, economics, law or equivalent or a bachelor’s degree with more relevant professional experience; a certification in (agile) project management is an advantage
• Several years of professional experience in project management, ideally with a strong consulting background
• Proven track record in leading complex strategic, transformation or re-organization projects, ideally in legal or compliance operations
• Experience in steering external providers (e.g. consultancies and/or system providers)
• High affinity to enabling functions, operations and processes, service organizations, standardization and digitization, as well as a sound AI proficiency
• Profound experience in compliance management systems and compliance processes as well as in process mining and BPM is a plus
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork and leadership skills
• Fluency in English is mandatory, German proficiency is beneficial
