Process Manager - Manufacturing Execution, Focus Track & Trace
The Position
As Process Manager, you will be responsible to design, build and implement standardized global operations processes to ensure operations competitiveness and GxP-compliance. The area of expertise for this position focuses on Business Processes for Production and Manufacturing Execution and their implementation into the appropriate IT-Systems (e.g. PAS-X Track & Trace, NiceLabel). This position requires 50% on-site presence at our location in Ingelheim, ensuring close collaboration with the team and alignment with project goals.
Tasks & responsibilities
- In your new role, you will define the level of standardization for global Manufacturing Execution Processes (according to ISA 95) in coordination with Global Process Owner (GPO).
- A particular focus of this position is the Track and Trace / Anti-counterfeiting of drugs through serialization/aggregation and label management for the operational area with the aim of standardization.
- Together with IT-specialists, you will identify improvement opportunities, maintain validation and software lifecycle documents and define solution proposals for state-of-the-art processes and systems.
- You will ensure GxP-compliance and validation of processes and applications including testing and training processing.
- Furthermore, you will govern performance, continuity and sustainability of processes in your area of responsibility.
- Finally, you will empower global process implementation and act as team member in global deployment projects with responsibility for dedicated project tasks.
- You will be part of a cross-functional project team to implementation MES processes in for Animal Health and Human Pharma production.
Requirements
- Master's Degree, Diploma or ideally PhD in Natural Science, Pharmacy, Process Engineering or Business Informatics paired with few years’ professional experience in a pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical production or supporting areas (e.g. manufacturing, quality assurance in production)
- Profound working experience in business process design and implementation of highly integrated and standardized solutions
- Deep expertise with MES (e.g. PAS-X) and Knowledge in GxP regulatory requirements
- Experience with implementation of cross-functional operational processes incl. know-how around process integration with SAP, EWM, MES (PAS-X) or other systems is beneficial
- Dedicated team player with structured problem-solving skills
- Fluent communication skills in English and German
- Willingness work flexibly and to travel (approximately 25%), to support sites in different time zones
