The Position
The growing importance of data driven clinical analytics creates a unique opportunity to shape the future of Clinical Functional Capabilities and Clinical Pharmacokinetics. Tasks & responsibilities
- Develop reusable, standardized R-based workflows for data preparation, analysis, visualization, and reporting in clinical analytics
- Use pharmacokinetics as an initial application area to create high-value analytical solutions with broader long-term applicability
- Improve data flow from source to analysis output to increase transparency, reduce manual effort, and support more direct use of available data
- Translate scientific questions into robust, interpretable, and maintainable analytical workflows in close collaboration with domain experts and technical colleagues
- Contribute to reproducible analytics by applying version control, documentation, testing, and modular workflow design principles
- Support capability building during the transition to new analytical environments by creating solutions that are scalable, practical, and sustainable
- Help enable broader adoption of modern analytical approaches through clear outputs, reusable components, and collaborative ways of working
Requirements
- PhD in bioinformatics, computational biology, biostatistics, data science, or a related quantitative discipline
- Strong R programming skills, including reproducible analysis, data wrangling, and structured reporting
- Experience with version control, documentation, modular code, testing, and reusable analytical components
- Familiarity with database concepts, structured data handling, and modern analytics platforms such as Databricks
- Ability to translate domain questions into interpretable, robust, and structured analyses
- Interest in pharmacokinetics as an initial application area
- Strong collaboration skills with a focus on reproducibility, clarity, and maintainable outputs
Start date: asap
Salary range: According to the “Collective Agreement on Minimum Annual Salaries for Academically Qualified Employees in the Chemical Industry”. This target can be achieved if requirements and personal aspects are fulfilled.
