Operational Security Resilience Manager

The Position

Based in Ingelheim, you will take on the role of Operational Security Resilience Manager to strengthen our capability to manage disruption and protect critical operations.

In this position, you will be at the heart of the security function and play a key role in ensuring the organization can anticipate, respond to, and recover from major incidents. You will work closely with site leaders and cross-functional teams to support resilience across the business.

This position has a hybrid setup with approximately 3 days per week on site.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • In this role, you will support the implementation of the enterprise resilience programme across operations, including crisis management, incident response, and business continuity.
  • By partnering with business-facing security leads, you will strengthen and operationalise response frameworks and readiness.
  • As part of your responsibilities, you will support the development of and maintain practical business continuity plans and playbooks.
  • During security related incidents, you will provide coordination and support, enabling clear decision-making and an effective response.
  • With a focus on transparency, you will deliver concise reporting and insights to senior leadership on risks, preparedness, and resilience maturity.
  • In close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders (IT, HR, Facilities, Supply Chain), you will enhance end-to-end resilience.
  • Through involvement in supporting exercises and scenario testing, you will help validate and continuously improve capabilities.
  • Within your area of responsibility, you will assist in embedding regulatory requirements into resilience practices.

Requirements

  • Formal qualifications in Security, Risk, Crisis Management, or related field, with certification in Business Continuity or Crisis Management preferred.
  • Proven crisis management expertise, with broad knowledge across physical, personnel, and information security.
  • Proven capability to provide clear decision-support and incident coordination skills, including escalation to management under pressure.
  • Practical experience in business continuity planning and implementation, translating strategy into site-level execution.
  • Comfortable operating in multi-site or complex organizational environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across all organizational levels.
