Market Access Lead Obesity

The Position

Are you ready to shape the global development and access strategy for a first‑in‑class obesity triple agonist? This senior leadership role offers a rare opportunity to establish and lead the global Market Access strategy for an asset that has achieved proof of concept, spanning development, launch, and lifecycle.
You will hold end‑to‑end accountability for Market Access, including pricing and value strategy, payer‑ and HTA‑informed clinical development support, evidence generation, and global launch and reimbursement strategy. As a core member of the Global Brand Leadership Team, you will partner closely with Development, Medical, Commercial, and executive leadership, serving as the primary decision owner for Market Access across the asset.
The role includes building and scaling a high‑performing global Market Access organization, working closely with regional and affiliate teams to ensure successful launch and sustainable patient access worldwide. For leaders motivated by shaping value, access, and impact from the earliest stages, this is a rare opportunity to influence both a breakthrough therapy and a global access capability.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Lead the global Market Access strategy, fully integrated with overall asset and brand strategy
  • Drive early market shaping and access preparation to enable successful launch and sustainable patient access
  • Influence clinical development to ensure payer, HTA, and health‑system requirements support the target value proposition
  • Define and deliver a differentiated payer value proposition supported by clinical, real‑world, and economic evidence
  • Represent Market Access on the Asset Leadership Team, contributing to governance and strategic decision‑making
  • Partner cross‑functionally and with regional and local teams to anticipate and address access barriers
  • Govern evidence generation (HEOR, RWE) to support pricing, HTA, and reimbursement decisions
  • Build and lead a high‑performing global Market Access team with scalable capabilities across the asset lifecycle

Requirements

  • Senior market access leader with deep expertise in Obesity/GLP-1 global access and commercialization, operating at asset, franchise, or portfolio leadership level
  • Extensive experience developing and executing global, regional, and local market access strategies, integrating payer insights and aligning with therapeutic area priorities
  • Strong expertise in value‑based pricing, evidence generation, and payer‑focused value propositions aligned with healthcare system needs
  • Demonstrated success in developing channel‑specific access strategies, including cash / out‑of‑pocket models and engagement with third‑party or private providers
  • Proven ability to align complex cross‑functional organizations, close evidence gaps, and shape external market environments to ensure sustainable patient access
  • Strong people leadership track record, including building, managing, and inspiring high‑performing teams and driving innovative approaches to market access
  • Senior leadership experience in global, regional, and/or major market roles, with deep understanding of global healthcare systems (e.g., US, EU, Japan, China) and the ability to adapt strategies to diverse market archetypes
  • Strategic foresight, adaptability, and resilience, with the ability to navigate complex global challenges, influence at senior levels, and drive innovation to maximize asset value
