Manager Global Crisis & Business Continuity Management

The Position

We are seeking a Resilience professional with experience in operational Business Continuity Management to embed a Business Continuity Management System across our organization and global operations. In this role you will be transforming a strong framework into consistent and scalable practice. You will influence how a global business manages resilience and crisis, partnering closely with regional and functional leaders to strengthen our preparedness and response, meet regulatory expectations, and protect our people, customers, and brand.

Along the way, you will benefit from professional development and support toward relevant certifications, ensuring you continue to grow as you help elevate our global resilience posture.

This role operates in a hybrid model with approximately three days per week on site in Ingelheim Germany.

Tasks & responsibilities:

  • In this role, you will deliver and continuously strengthen day-to-day BCM capability, ensuring practical value, regulatory alignment, and effective preparedness and response.
  • As part of your responsibilities, the operational roll-out and governance of the BCMS will be supported by embedding standards, clear accountability, and ISO 22301-aligned practices across teams.
  • You will deliver core BCM activities, including BIAs, risk assessments, continuity plans, and exercises, ensuring they are practical, tested, and usable in real scenarios.
  • With a focus on integration, BCM will be embedded into wider operations through close collaboration with crisis management, enterprise security risk management, and third-party resilience.
  • To provide clear insights to support decision-making and improvement, you will track and report on performance, including KPIs, OKRs, and maturity metrics.
  • Furthermore, you will support crisis readiness and continuous improvement and will deputise for the Global Crisis Management capability when required.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification (e.g. BCM, Crisis Management, Resilience, or similar) or equivalent hands-on experience, with a proven track record delivering BCM in multi-site, multi-country operations—ideally within complex or regulated environments.
  • Strong, practical communicator who works effectively with teams on the ground and senior stakeholders alike. Able to challenge constructively, build trusted relationships, and drive action in fast-moving situations.
  • Confident creating and using dashboards and analytics in a real-world setting—turning data into clear, actionable insights that support operational decisions and measurable outcomes.
  • Delivery-focused and organised, with the ability to prioritise, manage competing demands, and keep BCM activities moving forward in a dynamic environment.
  • Clear ability to produce practical materials such as playbooks, exercise outputs, training content, and concise updates for leadership. Strong English written and verbal skills required.

As part of our commitment to transparency and fairness, salary information will be shared during the recruitment process. We also offer a comprehensive benefits and wellbeing package.
